A bird’s eye view of the Cordova Ave property that River Guardians Ohio has been asked to assist in mitigating the trash, cleaning up the area and restoring this treasure in the middle of urban Akron.
It is a VERY ambitious project but with the help of Akron City Council, the City Service Department, Black Hawk Foundation, Let’s Grow Akron, Summit Soil and Water Conservation District and the surrounding property owners, we can show what passionate people can accomplish.

One takeaway from this was meeting some of the dedicated people serving here at the Nature Center (formerly the pump house) on Summit Lake.
