With the help of Matt Pulliam and Dan Smith, RGO was able to clear the tree that had fallen into Mud Run a few weeks ago, blocking an outfall for the storm sewers and over 50% of the flow under the canal into the Tusc thus a higher potential for flooding just upstream.

Matt volunteered his time and equipment, without which we would not have even attempted this.

Dan volunteered his skills with the chainsaw that again, without we would not have taken this on.

Watching these two work together for the first time, you would have thought they had done this for years as a team. RGO’s and my personal thanks just doesn’t seem enough.

Eric and I jumped in the water afterwards and finished clearing the small debris and pulling a hundred pounds of thrash.
