Last cleanup of the current Mud Run Booms!
We were planning to move these booms upstream some to rest the substrate and bank. Storms have forced our hand with this. These booms have been destroyed and will need to be replaced. 88 pounds on this day.
Out cleaning booms on Summit Lake this morning!
This one is at the bottom of Trail Ave. Managed 4 bags at about 85 pounds. Thanks Ohio Erie Canalway Coalition and Summit Metro Parks for picking up our trash! Best part of the day, meeting and talking with people out enjoying the trail!

A winter meeting with key players at the Cordova project area to discuss what we have accomplished to date and plans for the near future and longer range goals.
I must say that working with Let’s Grow Akron, the Black Hawk Foundation and in this case Jeff Wilhite from Summit County Council has been and continues to be inspirational to say the least. I blame our conversation on the water!. We cleaned booms, 6 bags here 1 from Summit, did some boom maintenance and discussed new booms to install.
