I told her this morning’s cleanup on mud run took me 2 hours! 😇🤣.

Dave and I had planned on cleaning the boom at Mud Run this morning and the rain started so I took advantage of that and came down to check the booms on Summit Lake and this is the result of that.

Hit the canal boom and a couple of the new booms on the west side of Summit Lake. Bit chilly with the wind. Thanks to Summit Metro Parks and Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition for collecting our bags today. The partnership with these groups makes this possible!!

The rains Monday pushed trash through the storm sewers and right to the RiverkeepersOhio booms where it waits for us to collect. 3 bags today and about 48 pounds from the canal and Nature Center booms with a bunch more to pull from Mud Run when the water comes down a little. Johnny, in this…
