I took the bucket strainer out today at Summit lake and it did ok.
Certainly tedious work and my back hurts! I feel this contraption would work a little better for the really muddy areas where the shore is a slow grade to the water. In those areas the mud is a few inches deep and wet and full of plastics. Then I could just shovel the mud into the bucket, run water through it to strain the plastics while replacing the organic stuff?
For this area I was at today and a lot of the roughly 2 miles of shoreline that Summit Lake has. I believe a pool strainer might be the best bet. I don’t pretend to know what I’m doing, but at least I’m trying right? – Johnny Ringo
