Contamination is still present.
Booms, ours and theirs, are containing the vast majority. Steady increase in volume. Will get back out Monday to put eyes on it and follow up with OEPA for next steps.

This boom will be located right in front of the Summit Metro Parks Nature Center at the end of Ira.

Thank you Jennifer Parker Zylkor for the pic sticks and rope from our Amazon wish list! We are planning a small kids event in April with Summit Metro Parks at the Nature Center. We plan on building a couple trash booms to deploy there on Summit lake and to pick up some trash!
Repurposed the boom removed from Wolf Creek this morning.
Kat Donaldson, Johnny Ringo and I put half in as the second boom on the Cordova Project and the other half is now home under the dock on the North Shore area of Summit Lake. We also collected about 130 pounds of trash from the two locations. Best part of it all, spending time together…

Monday rounds before the rains.
Managed to pull a couple bags of trash out and plan for more in the morning. Some areas capturing more than others but all are doing the job. Encampments are still active and growing notifications have been sent again. The big wheels move slow, patience.
