Cleaned out the trash boom on the canal south of Summit Lake and then a lap around the lake proper.
49 pounds of trash in 4 bags isn’t too bad for a 40 degree day in winter and this view was my reward!

Repurposed the boom removed from Wolf Creek this morning.
Kat Donaldson, Johnny Ringo and I put half in as the second boom on the Cordova Project and the other half is now home under the dock on the North Shore area of Summit Lake. We also collected about 130 pounds of trash from the two locations. Best part of it all, spending time together…
Last cleanup of the current Mud Run Booms!
We were planning to move these booms upstream some to rest the substrate and bank. Storms have forced our hand with this. These booms have been destroyed and will need to be replaced. 88 pounds on this day.
Met Bob along the east side of Summit Lake today and collected about 55 pounds of trash from the booms on that side following yesterday’s rain.
Will hit the west side tomorrow along with Mud Run and Wolf Creek! Thanks Summit Metro Parks for picking up my bags!
