Love it because it is pushing the trash to our booms for us to collect instead of going into the Tuscarawas and Summit Lake! Thanks again to the City of Akron, Summit Metro Parks and Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition for picking up what is collected.
Out on a little patrol along Mud Run this morning.
Hidden under the snow is a fair amount of trash in the booms. Will likely be hitting that either Monday or Tuesday morning. Spent a couple hours out along the canal and south Summit Lake this morning collecting about 200 pounds of trash at both our trash booms and with a new long handled net for along the boardwalks.
The net is a handy addition to the tool belt for River Guardians Ohio. Summit Metro Parks and Ohio Erie Canalway Coalition, thank you for all you do daily in this area and for helping us!
