Tis the season to be busy!

We have an event with the Akron Zoo down on the Little Cuyahoga River by the Mustill Store on May 30th. Our part will be demonstrating and building with our future generation, a trash boom and demonstrating the operation and maybe a little scavenger hunt of sorts. Earlier in the week we surveyed a location for the boom and started our prep work. Very excited for this.

Last week, Kat Donaldson and I spent the afternoon up and down a stretch of Mud Run with some experts. Our dream for this creek is to bring it back from just a dumping ground and a waterway to discharge waste and turning it into a thriving warm water habitat over the course of the next couple years. A first step in that process is understanding what we are dealing with so we can take appropriate corrective actions and mitigation efforts.
