Heavy rain with some lightning!!
Can’t get in the water now but can check how booms are working! We did get 20 pounds out of the Nature Club’s boom that the kids built and installed last week outside the Nature Center. The new River Guardians Ohio members! Great Job! Thanks Thanks Summit Metro Parks!
Spent a couple hours out along the canal and south Summit Lake this morning collecting about 200 pounds of trash at both our trash booms and with a new long handled net for along the boardwalks.
The net is a handy addition to the tool belt for River Guardians Ohio. Summit Metro Parks and Ohio Erie Canalway Coalition, thank you for all you do daily in this area and for helping us!
